Millie: Next up we have XIMENA.
Lindsay: Come on down gorgeous.
Barbara: I have an announcement as well.
Millie: Go right ahead.
Barbara: Hi Ximena, I just wanted to apologise for being so harsh to you in week 1. I didn't get the chance to apologise last week, so I thought I'd do it now.
Ximena: Oh wow. Thanks, I appreciate you saying that to me.
Barbara: Don't expect it again though girl.
Ximena: *laughs* I definitely wasn't.
Millie: How was the shoot?
Ximena: I think it went well. Just let me see my shot Millie!
Millie: Okay, okay. Here you go.

For me, the star of this shot is your face; despite it being a quite high angled shot, you still managed to retain a strong eye contact with the camera as well as keeping your face looking gorgeous. The main issue for me with this shot is the background as I just feel there are too many things going on. I don't mind this kind of 'pattern' theme you've got going on, but I think that when you're selling a specific item, whether it be a dress or a piece of jewelry, then that has to be the star of the show, and I feel that there are so many different things going on here that I'm not looking at the dress. As an editorial in Harper's Bazaar? I think this would be fantastic, but as a one-off campaign shot I just don't think it would be the best fit. Nevertheless, a strong photo this week, I'm glad.
Lindsay: I wanna root for you so bad. And every week I'm waiting for you to send in a breath taking photo and I guess it's not this week. This REALLY reminds me of what Jessie sent it, except I prefer yours. One thing that does bother me though is the colors, I feel like there's SO many at once and it's really hard to tell whether you followed your given one, which is pink. And I feel like I'm seeing every single color but pink. This is a strong picture, but again, there's way too much going on at once to tell. Give us something cleaner next time, since I think being messy is your downfall.
Ximena: No more distractions. Got it.
Barbara: I see what you were trying to do and I appreciate the risk, but I don't know...everything is so beautiful and floral..and then your face/makeup is so hideous, it just doesn't work for me.
Ximena: Okay, thank you.
Millie: Thanks Ximena.
