In this duel, you will compete in an online board game known as ‘Hex’, on the Board Game Arena website. It will require you to set up an account and set up game tables to face each other on, but I will run through how that works in a minute.
“Hex” is a strategy game that requires you to strategically place your own color hexagons in order to make a complete path from one side of the board to the other, without being blocked by the other player’s own hexagons. With the way the board is formatted, it is not possible for a tie to occur, so there will be a victor in every head to head bout. I recommend having a practice with an online player before you agree on a time to face each other.
You will play THREE rounds against each other at a time when you are both able to get on, and it’s the first to win TWO out of THREE of those games that will stay in the game, with the loser eliminated from Crisis.
