Not only did SAWAYAMA have an amazing closer, it also had an amazing opener!!! Like this is how you open an album!!! It’s so… just stunning. The beginning of the song where it sounds like a robotic elevator going down after she says “catch me before i fall” is so fucking good omg… Yeah! this is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite song from SAWAYAMA? It changes every week. Yeah.
nateclove / KIM - Tkay Maidza, Yung Baby Tate
Oh now this is the best song ever made!!!!! Tkay Maidza and Yung Baby Tate are both incredible artists so obviously a collaboration between them would be immaculate. And that’s exactly what it is!!! This song is so fun! And I really hope we get more songs from them because they're so powerful! And I think we will because Yung Baby Tate said she had a song that Tkay would sound good on during the premiere party!!! So they’re saving the music industry again omg! Yeah!
Kmartt / Save Myself - Ashe
Yeah. This isn’t bad? It’s kinda cute? And in a mediocre round it would probably get you a cute little safe placement but every stepped it up! Well, almost everyone. So, this looks really blah compared to other songs. This song reminds me of the licence plate song that everyone overhyped for literally no reason? Yeah. This is very basic white pop girl song but it lacks the personality that the other basic white pop girl song this round had!
paul028 / Sweet Melody - Little Mix
Like Kmartt;s submission, this isn’t bad. It’s kinda cute. But it’s just mediocre. Especially if you compare this to old little mix songs!! They kinda got worse idc idc ! This just feels dated at times? It’s giving 2018 tbh. And there’s times where there’s so much going on in the song but also nothing is going on. Yeah. They’re so talented though. And fun fact! I share a birthday with Jade Thirlwall! Anyways, I think this could grow on me !
varlto / Change - Pale Waves
This Avril Lavinge severe omg… I’ve only heard like one other pale waves song and this is so much better than it omg ! I love songs that have 2000’s pop rock ish sound to them! They’re literally all so good. And this really captures this! Ugh! And the music video is so cute!!
