I decided to review Ungodly Hour by Chloe x Halle so yay!
This album came out like a couple of days ago and I first listened to it after it’s been out for like 16 hours. And I had it on repeat since. This album is actual art. There’s not a single bad song on it. Literal perfection. I heard “Do It” and “Forgive Me” before I listened to the album and they’re bops. “Lonely” and “Busy Boy” were songs that during the first listen I just knew my life had changed. I just knew it. “Don’t Make It Harder On Me”, “Wonder What She Thinks Of Me”, and “ROYL” are all ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. “ROYL” needs to be on the Euphoria soundtrack asap. I ADORE “Babygirl”. The post chorus is SO GOOD. “Ungodly Hour” is an AMAZING title track. “Overwhelmed” needs to be longer. I want an extended version. I NEED it. I also really like “Catch Up” and “Tipsy”. They both have grown on me so much after the first listen. Overall, stream this fucking masterpiece, like right now.
