None of the songs are bad solely because of Ariana's vocals, but several are boring! I definitely think Sweetener is superior to this album.
AMAZING - replaying these for a while:
1. Needy - So simple, yet catchy. A classic.
2. Imagine - perfection
3. Fake Smile - I love the sampling choice. The production is so on point and the lyrics are great too.
4. 7 rings - a JAM. The Side to Side of this era.
Great:
5. Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored - idk if this song will stick, but for now, it's a good-great song with amazing production.
6. Ghostin - production and Ariana's vocals are amazing here, but the lyrics fall just a tad short in quality. The production and even Ariana's vocals deserve stronger lyricism.
Pretty good:
7. NASA - This is cute.
8. Bloodline - Lyrically superior to the great songs, but this production has been done so many times before by others, and even herself.
Ok:
9. Bad Idea - It's not a bad song, but I know I'll never listen to it again LOL.
10. Thank U, Next - I was never a fan of this song. It's boring to me, but obviously everybody disagrees lol.
Very boring:
11. In My Head - yawn.
12. Make Up - very vapid!
Timster TELL ME HOW GOOD IT FEELS TO BE NEEDED - heard all those quality classic lyrics over them BELLS, so it's still my fave.
