After getting close to this catfish and finding out they’re not who they are, I’d be super conflicted. I assume I really liked their personality, but they are not who they said they were so who knows what else is a lie! I’m desperate enough to give them a second chance and whatever it takes to make it potentially work, by even being their enemy.
This at first might seem weird for this theme but I'll explain how you can interpretate it so it fits the theme!

Means you're embarrassed you fell into the lies of someone saying that he is someone he actually isn't and you just want to forget about it

Meaning that when you confront that person they act like they're sorry but in the end they knew what they were doing
And then, the other important part is:

Meaning that you have never lied about who you are but the other person actually did, so you feel like you don't really know them!
