So recently I decided to give Survivor: Vanuatu a re-watch and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Figured I'd do a lil cast ranking on what I thought of each of the castaways that made the merge.
10th: Scout Cloud Lee - UGH. What a vile, old, patrionising bitch. I didn't realise how unbearable she was on my first watch but JESUS CHRIST she's so annoying. Can't stand her. Eliza is an icon, leave her alone.
9th: Twila Tanner - The duo of Twila and Scout is probably one of the worst duos in Survivor history. The bullying of Eliza in the last couple of days, and her refusal to apologise for a million dollars is laughable.
8th: Rory Freeman - Rory was kinda iconic at points but also incredibly grating. He was quite annoying and I was glad to see him go early merge because I don't know how much more of him I could've taken.
7th: Lea "Sarge" Masters - Sarge was a man of many values and based his game around integrity. Whilst that can be respected his jury speech was over-the-top and turned me off him. He was also kinda creepy around Julie but she shagged Jeff Probst so each to their own I guess.
6th: LeAnn Slaby - LeAnn was very under-the-radar and a secondary character for much of the game. Pretty much regarded as Ami's "lackey" her blindside really changed the game - despite her character edit not being all that interest. Did have her funny moments, though - her and her loved one laughing in the challenge because they were so pathetic at it being one of them.
5th: Ami Cusak - I LOVED Ami in her elimination episode, but I didn't realise how arrogantly she came across in the edit. It's evident that she is a nice person but she did really come across as cocky, and her whole "women forever" ultimately bit her in the arse.
4th: Chad Crittenden - A LEGEND, we stan Chad. Just a solid dude all round, was sad to see him go so early ;(.
3rd: Julie Berry - I really enjoyed Julie in the last couple episodes that she appeared in, but up to that point she was a very nothing character, she didn't really do anything other than ride the coattails of Ami and LeAnn. Her move to get Twila not trust the men was ICONIC though and their evidently is a player in there somewhere. Didn't win the million? Shag the host, it probably works!
2nd: Chris Daughtery - Chris played an AMAZING game, like it's honestly not talked about enough, he managed to fight from the bottom of an alliance of 7 women to get them to all completely capitulate. It was entertaining to watch, and he was a likeable character to watch do it.
1st: Eliza Orlins - An absolute ICON. Periodt. Absolutely adored her, best castaway in this season by a country mile.
