Development and progress come when women are empowered.
Women who have control over their fertility are women who can pull themselves out of poverty. They can choose their partners. Get an education. Work important jobs.
A nation that removes a woman's rights over her own body, is a nation going backwards.

men don’t actually care about fetuses being aborted but rather they fear being stood up to and being challenged. they ban these rights that a woman should have because they know that it will impact them and it will adhere to men being in power of the status quo.
men and especially white men will do everything they can to maintain control as the United States becomes increasingly more diverse and the people get angrier about how little we get from the government compared to other first world countries.
this is now the second time in years where large crowds take to the streets to protest and are violently attacked by police, and in the end nothing is accomplished because the system was set up in such a way that conservative men get way more power than they should be able to have through "representation". it makes me so sick to think about the state of this country
