Finally enough T$ and high enough level to play frookies. I can see why we have to start with fastings and castings, it's too crazy to just be thrown into that without any practice. With hard earned T$ on the line, I'm not sure I want to rush into another frookies again any time soon.
The first game was absolutely wild, I couldn't keep up until the POV's ended. I won 3 of them, which kept me safe and brought me, somehow, to 4th place, without any real alliance to the top 3. I lost all my teammates with just chilltownmember3 remaining at 5th place.
So Chill and I join another frookies, hoping to do better. Our ally FrankieJGrande started the game, so we figured we'd rule and do well. Not so. We got screwed by a supposed ally, didn't win anything, and were all knocked out early. Totally lame. No winnings.
I don't even know what I want for the next one. Some crazy circumstances that will help me do well enough to afford another game, that's all I ask :)
And what's with all the messaging? Do people just message you in case you win HOH and because they want to stay safe? I figure most of those I talked to all had their own alliances already, and were just covering their bases with me too.
Tryphena Don't join fast or slow rookies by yourself unless you can comp to the end. Premade or perish. Spam or be nominated. Work on how fast you can spam the message board. This might entail increasing your typing speed.
Thanks Waterprince for the advice. Definitely a mistake to have gone in alone.
And I type very fast, but I wasn't sure if my time was better spent on the chat board, or in private messages, playing POV, connecting with team over chatzy. I'm guessing that's why people skype, is to leave their hands free for spamming the board and winning HOH? Does it matter if your messages are +1'd, or more important just to post really often?
And yes skype is to keep in touch with premade. Private messages are for others. Chatzy can be used if you don't have skype. Also it should be known before hand who plays for the HOH's and POV's. Some can do both others can't. You generally should not be Private Messaging anyone if you alliance is doing what it should, winning comps and putting out the immediate threats. You should only play POV's you know you stand a chance of winning unless you are playing against noobs. Always POV first if you intend to play it, then come back and spam. Though if you are playing for POV you most likely aren't playing for HOH unless you can do both.
