I don't get it... Sep 25, 2009
I just ended my first Rookies game. I came in 9th. I'm not disappointed, but I'm so confused...I still have no idea how the Rookies game works. Someone needs to explain this to me. There were like, 2 HOH's in one day and the first gets to nominate 3, and the second nominates 2? What? I am so confused right now...and the first guy that got out in this game, he was HOH and ended up getting evicted first. How does that work? I thought HOH is automatically safe?

Someone should make a fauxhawk... Sep 21, 2009
I really want someone to make a fauxhawk hairdo on here so I can bid on it...I don't know how to do it, and my hair is kinda ugly in my avatar. :(

So who's with me? If anyone knows how to make one, then...make one. Haha.

Second Casting game Sep 21, 2009
Alright...I'm going to go on a bit of a tangent here. I am just minutes away from the end of my second ever casting game. I'm in the finals. Now, this is the part where I say how much fun I had and how great it was to meet everyone. But it wasn't.

This game was a giant, steaming pile of turd. I basically had to log on for two seconds once a day, and I'd make it through to the next round. It was like that up until about the top 10 or so. There were SO MANY inactive people in this casting.

Those who were active hardly ever spoke. I can only think of about 4 people who ever talked, and we are the final four. Hardly anyone else ever even said a word.

Except for this one girl...she kept sending me a message about every day. It was the same basic meaning within the message, but she used different words. One day it was , "Hi" the next, "Hey" after that, it was, "Hello", and so on. I never responded, because she bugged the hell out of me.

I don't know...maybe I was expecting too much from this game. My first casting was excellent, I really liked it a lot. I guess I was hoping for this one to be just as good, but it wasn't. I already know I won't win, I'm expecting to take third. Thing is, I just have not been active enough to win. It's been boring, and so I haven't spent much time on this game, talking to people and staying active. I'm not making excuses as to why I'll lose; I'm just explaining why I already know I won't.

There were probably 5 or 6 new people, maybe even more. New people who have never played this game before. There was this girl who was put up on the block. It was then that she decided she would speak up and say something to all of us. Guess what she said? The conversation between her and myself went like this:

"What the???? Why is there a question mark under my name???"
"Because you are on the block"
"Oh...well how do I get off of it????"
"This may sound rude, but have you ever even seen Big Brother? We vote whether you stay or go"
"Oh..."

I have no problem with new people. Heck, I'm still fairly new. But my god...it was like this girl had never seen Big Brother before, which makes me wonder, why would she sign up for a Big Brother simulation game? Isn't that a little...pointless? Also, there is a FAQ that gives answers and explains the rules of the game. She could have at least looked for that and read it first.

This game honestly was really boring and dull. I can only think of two people that I actually liked. All the rest I disliked. I was not indifferent to anyone, I really disliked almost all of them.

Now, some of you are going to think, "How can you dislike someone you never spoke to, if tons of them were inactive?" Well, that's why I dislike them. It's pointless to join a game and never sign in, or sign in once a day and not even say anything. It makes the game just that much more boring for the rest of us, and it's pointless for them because it's going to get them eliminated early on. It's annoying...

Oh, and another thing. It annoys me when people complain that they can't be active because they have school. Well here's what I do. I never have to go to work until after 10:00 in the morning. So, I signed up for a game around 9:30, and it took about 45 minutes for all the spots in the game to be taken up by players. I signed up for a game at that time on purpose. That way, I can always be here for the day changes and be more active in general, unless I have to cover someone's shift at work(which happened once during the course of this game).

Others can do this as well. Sign up for a game around 6:00. That way you can check it before you go to school, and check it when you get home from school. Don't sign up for a game at noon, because you'll be at school during the day changes and this will make you more likely to be put up for nomination due to inactivity. I believe it was in my first game, someone was whining about how we should keep him when he was on the block. "It's not my fault I have school" he said. Well, dropping out IS an option, sir. This is not ideal, however...but really, he should have found a better time to sign up. If you have school AND a job, then tengaged is probably not a good idea for you at this time. Wait until summer so your schedule clears up a bit.

I just had to get a few things off my chest. I've enjoyed my time here, I really have, but man, some things just annoy me.

Thanks to everyone in my first casting Sep 16, 2009
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who was in my first casting. It was a ton of fun and I'm shocked I actually won! These were some good times I'll miss...I don't think any game I play on here will ever be quite like my first, it was fantastic. So thanks to everyone. :)

My first BB game: 1 hour until finals Sep 16, 2009
I'm pleased to say that I've enjoyed my first game so far. It's been a fun adventure and I got to meet some cool people. Most of the people, to be honest, kinda bothered me. But hey, I don't let it get to me. It's a game. Some people are just more willing to cause problems than others, I guess. I had a bit of drama sent my way and I was in a tough spot, but everything got worked out and I'm proud to say I've made it to the final 4. My favorites from this game were definitely Junsheaven and PeeingintotheWind. Both of them are very nice and we had some good times.

I must say, I'm a bit sad that Kevin didn't win BB11. It was a good season and I think Kevin deserved it more, but at least the GNATalie didn't get the grand prize. I liked Jordan a lot and I'm happy for her. Also, congrats to Jeff on appealing to the people and winning the 25,000 prize.

Here's to a great end to a great game, and to many more games to be played here on tengaged.
