Here is a breakdown of the game rules for newbies:
Time: The two phases of the game, Nominations and Elimination each take 6 hours. There is a countdown timer at the top of the page. If everyone votes, the timer jumps to zero and the next phase of the game begins. You can tell who has voted because they will not have a blue clock by their head if they have.
Nominations: You have 2 votes for nomination. 2 players receiving the most nomination votes during the nomination phase will be nominated for elimination.
Elimination: You have 1 vote for elimination. You can only choose between the 2 nominated players. The player receiving the most votes is eliminated forever.
POV: This is immunity. If you have this, you cannot be nominated this round. You get it by being active (posting a lot) and by having people checkmarking your comments. (This is called PLUSSING) Obviously, pressing the X (negging) has the opposite effect.
There are many ways to play the game. A good strategy to win the game is to create strong alliances built on genuine friendships. Try to manipulate other players to eliminate players who are the least likely to help you get to the end. Lie, deceive, and trust. Do it all to win. Winners gain cash and XP that can be used on the site to dress up your character and unlock harder games.
