Since I had so much time in quarantine, I listened to way more projects than usual, 40 to be exact. Most are albums, but there's 2 or 3 EPs in there so I thought it'd be fun to rank them!
#35 is.......Disco - Kylie Minogue
Highlights - Real Groove. I honestly moderately liked it when I first listened to the album, but it's been growing on me ever since Dua Lipa collaborated with Kylie on the song for Studio 2054. Still annoyed Kylie didn't let Dua have the second verse, but I'll take what I can get. It's groovy and nice. It's not really my style, but I like it and it has grown on me and I respect it. I respect Kylie and her career and she's a queen but I never have really gotten into her music, so this low placement doesn't shock me. Magic is pretty good too.
Lowlights - Dance Floor Darling easily, but honestly the orange-tier songs are pretty bad. I listened to this album cause I heard so many people saying Kylie was back and better than ever, but I was underwhelmed. I never was huge on Kylie, but people made this album sound as if it was the best thing ever. This suffered a fate similar to Khalid's Free Spirit and Justin's Changes where, as we went on, every single song just sounded and felt the same. I already wasn't huge on the disco theme cause I felt Kylie didn't modernize it well, but I was okay for the first couple songs. As it continued on, though I just felt like this gif of Queen Jocasta Odom.
