The Walking Dead: Sealed Episode 9 “Safe And Sound”
“Quick, we have to move.” Dr. Green says. “She will wake up soon.”
“Ok, where are the other?” Klaus asks.
“I know exactly where they are at. It’s where we drugged you… it’s right below my classroom. I’m surprised that none of you had figured that out yet.” Dr. Green says. “Let’s go!”
All three of us rush out of the room and towards the bathroom area weirdly enough, right before we do I hear. “Sage!”
I turn around so fast almost knocking me down. “Burk! Where have you been,” As I rush embracing him.
“We went towards a safe room type deal that I hid from the others.” He says.
“Where’s Shannon?” I ask. “Didn’t she find you?”
“What? No.” Patrick says as I realize that Burk wasn’t the only one. “Austin and Kyle heard your voice and we packed up.”
“But, I sent her to find you. I was for sure that she would get you.” I say. “Are you sure?”
“Yes,” Burk says. “I’m sure that she’ll turn up. Now what was with your hasty speed?”
“We are trying to Hayley.” I say.
“And Maya, Renee, Bryce, and all those other people too.” Klaus declares.
“What are you talking about?” Kyle asks.
“It was Judith… she took them all and hid them because she thought she was protecting them.” Dr. Green says. “She has had me chained up in the science area for who knows how long.”
“We need to get to them.” I say. “Maxine! It’s safe!”
I can see Maxine, Ingrid, Woodrow, and Sally all coming out of the entrance.
“Is she dead?” Maxine asks.
“No, she’s up in the Safe Area.” Dr. Green says. “Knocked out for now.”
“Yes…. Sadly Joyce is dead,” I say. “She sacrificed herself so that we could get to Judith and save the rest of you.”
“What?” Ingrid says. “Joyce wasn’t supposed to die. You’re playing with evil spirits lady… be careful.”
“We need to keep moving!” Klaus says.
Dr. Green leads us to the area after many twists and turns through the catacombs, and finally we arrive to a steel door. “Don’t just stand there… open it.” Someone says.
I twist the handle and pull. There inside the door is everyone. Maya, Dakota, Bryce, and Hayley.
“Hayley!” I say. “We heard your screams and I knew you were alive! I had to find you. I’m so sorry.”
“Freeze,” I hear Ingrid say. “You stupid fool. You only get one. You must pay the price. Just wait,” She stops.
“You will have to repay for what you have done.” Woodrow continues. “The Devil is playing a trick on you. Prepare to pay up because you’re about to lose the game.”
“What are they talking about?” Hayley asks.
“Don’t worry about it. They are from the nut house.” I hear Burk say.
“Let’s get moving.” I say. “Shannon told me that we need to follow the water source to get out. It’s the only hope. Said she learn that in a movie that she was in. We need to move. Where ever the water is coming in from is our exit.”
“What about Shannon? Where is she?” Maya asks.
“Shannon went to look for Patrick and the boys. Never returned.” Maxine says.
“Well we can’t just leave her!” Maya says. “That’s inhuman!”
“We have to!” Dr. Green says. “That crazy lunatic is going to kill us all if we don’t move! Do we want to wait around for her? Of course, do we have time, no! Let’s go!”
“But…” Maya says.
“This isn’t time for your lawyer crap lady.” Dakota says.
“All agreed,” I say quickly moving on. “Let’s move.”
We all rush back, none of us knowing where we are going. Those things must have finished Joyce’s body already, we are lucky if they have lasted this long. We make it back to the Main Room with Judith standing at the other end of the room with a gun.
“What’s wrong with you?” Judith says. “Lying to me?”
“You’re just a crazy bitch lady, move on.” Bryce says.
“How dare you!” She says. “Watch this, oh wait you won’t be able too!”
The lights go off and I’m shoved to the ground, the moans and groans of those things have returned to the light of my ears. I rush and find a light switch. When the lights return I see Sally standing right in front of Judith.
“Sally!” I hear Maya shout.
“I can’t…” She says. “I can’t… she just so…”
“Sally, please just come back.” Maya pleads as if her voice matters.
“I am going to stay.” Sally says strongly.
“What?” I hear half the people say.
“Judith is my leader, I follow her leadership.” She says.
“She’s made her choice. It’s time for us to accept that.” Dr. Green says.
“Sage,” Maya looks at me with dark eyes.
How did I become the adult here? “We must accept that fact. It’s not like she’s committing suicide.”
I hear Ingrid and Woodrow whisper in my ear. “Now.”
It all goes down so fast. Sally’s smile catches my eye and I almost miss it. Judith wipes her gun from me to Hayley, I can’t move, I can’t do anything. Time slows down and I’m almost sure I heard laughter in the distance. As a gunshot enters my sister.
“Only one.” I hear them say.
“No!” I scream and shout and freak and never ending. This was the shortest and longest moment of my life.
“Sage,” Dr. Green beings, but Burk stops him.
“Sis, I know you don’t want to hear his, but we have to move. Now.” Burk says.
I try to make words, but it all comes out in mushes.
“Let’s go.” Burk says with a tear running down his cheek.
Practically dragging me across the room, I see Judith and Sally run off the way that Shannon went, we were headed the other direction.
The stream wasn’t powerful, but it was big enough so that one person could fit in it at a time. We all rush up stream as those things start to show up.
“Where’s Renee?” I hear Maxine whisper to Maya. “We have to find her. I’m not leaving without her.”
“Maxine, we have to leave now.” Maya says. “It’s you or no one.”
“Run!” I hear Klaus say from the back. “The cave is collapsing! Let’s go!”
We rush up the stream, having no idea where or when the stream started or ended or whatever. I was awful, you might as well have called me drunk.
Suddenly I see light and we are all blinded for a moment that when I hear it.
“What the hell?” Says a man’s voice. “Oh hi! I’m Biscu, oh shit!”
