The Walking Dead: Sealed Episode 7- Voices In My Head
When the lights went out, no one knew what to do. I try to make sure no one falls off the cliff like Anthony. Judith keeps laughing, but because of the cave I can’t truly know where she is.
Woodrow and Ingrid seem to find me and hold onto me like I have the cure to their insanity. Suddenly, someone gets smart. A small light appears out of nowhere. An IPhone flashlight. Bryce stands there with a smile and I let up a bit. No zombies, everything’s no in danger right now.
That’s when Judith shows up behind him, she knocks him out and he falls, just inches away from the edge. The phone falls to the ground and into the cavern. But of course everyone was already using the idea. Shannon and Joyce had their phones out already holding onto them like pets.
Judith starts chasing us down the hall with rage. “You better be careful! The Lord wants your deaths to be fast! I will do that for you! With them, it will be harsh!”
We just kept going turning and going in directions. We didn’t know where we were going. When we would hear moans or Judith’s howls, we would stop and go the other way. I was not going to be killed today or tonight… whatever it is, none of us know.
“Sage!” I hear, but I know that voice. I know it for sure, it’s Hayley.
“Hayley! Where are you?” I shout. “Hayley where are you?”
Ingrid smiles, “Be careful, do you want to trade out?”
“Shut up!” I say, “Hayley!”
“Sage, what are you hearing? None of us hear her.” Joyce says with doubt in her brow. “I’m not sure that you know what’s going on. We need to move. Judith could be anywhere near us.
“I don’t care!” I say. “I’m finding my sister! The same way that Maxine wants to find Renee.”
Maxine raises her head. Her hairs were everywhere, but she looked good. Just tired and of course, endlessly beautiful.
“What do you think is happening to all of our people?” I ask.
“Oh no…” Klaus says. “We forgot about Bryce. He’s back there on the ledge, in the dark, by himself! We have to go back!”
“I’m not risking this.” I say.
“Be careful with your next words.” Ingrid and Woodrow say together. “They will decide the rest of your life, or at least what’s left of it.”
“Shut up!” Shannon belt out. “All of you! We have to decide, are we going back for Bryce, going to look for whatever’s going on in Sage’s head, or trying to get to safety.”
“I want out.” I hear Sally say. “Get me out… get me out!!!!! I want out of this awful place! Get me out! Help! Get me out of here! Help! I want out! Help me!”
We all watch as the insane truly shows us why they are called that. She starts banging her head against the wall, freaking out.
“Sally, sweetie calm down.”
Sally breaks down crying. “I don’t deserve this. Judith knows that… she can tell you.”
“Judith can what?” Maxine says. “That’s right… her and Judith….”
“What am I missing?” I ask.
“You’re missing their story.” Joyce says.
“What story?” I ask. “Tell me.”
“Judith and Sally are… friends or something. They showed up together, always seemed to be talking to each other without everyone else being in the room. It scared me when they showed up, it made me wonder if I was going to end up being like them.” Maxine says. “They have a physic connection.”
“Is that why Judith is following us?” I ask. “Because they want to be together? Because they are so close?”
“It wouldn’t surprise me.” Joyce says. “Whenever I did their physicals, they were always waiting for the other, no one else would do that for anyone other than family members not in the institution.”
“Then I know what we do.” I say. “But we have to work together. I want out of this place and I know all the rest of you do, but we don’t know the exits. Only Patrick, Burk, and Dr. Green truly do, but first we need to decide… what are we going to do right now.”
“I know where we are.” Klaus says.
“What?” Shannon says.
“We are half way back to the main room.” He says.
“How do you know that?” I ask.
“Whenever we were running, I remember the story of Hanzel and Gretel. Their mother tried to get rid of them many times, but they would use bread crumbles to find their way back. I did the same thing, except with my clothes. The reason that I am in my boxers is because I was trying to make a path back.” He says picking up his pants. The order was jacket, shirt, shoes, pants, sock, and sock.
I look down, sure enough, his socks where on his feet.
“That’s… brilliant.” Joyce says. “I’m so proud of you Klaus.”
“Don’t treat me like one of them.” He says looking at her. “I am not one of them, so don’t treat me like one of them, you’re the doctor, you should know that I am mentally stable, more than anyone supposed to be in that place and more physically strong than the rest of them as well.”
I had no doubt that he was more physically strong than the rest with those amazing abs.
“I say that we keep going back and try to get to the doctor or the others who went the other way.” Shannon says. “It’s the smart thing to do.”
“But what about Bryce?” Joyce asks.
“If you heard Hayley, then I bet she will find him and they can work together.” She says. “Trust me, we just have to get out of this hell hole or we will never get out.”
“Alright, it’s settled, now here’s my plan to get out of here….” I say.
