This was your last chance to submit films before a winner is crowned. You had to submit a DCOM and then you were able to submit any film of your choice for your final rankings.
For this episode, I will leave my review but I will not reveal my rankings.
This was the first DCOM that was a musical and it paved the road for what DCOMs are all about now. While the film is good, I actually prefer the second film over the first. There were only a couple of songs in this film that I really liked.
Knowing that the first film was a top ranking film last season, is more than likely a giveaway that the second film would be. This film is the most watched DCOM ever breaking multiple viewership records. It was a smash hit and almost better than the first film. While the first film will always hold a special place with me, this film nearly comes close and I love it just as much.
You can't go wrong with submitting a MCU film, but I didn't really care for this one as much as a lot of the other MCU films. Maybe it's because I didn't watch the first Doctor Strange film and I haven't watched WandaVision, but there was a lot going on that I was unsure about. It was weird seeing Scarlet Witch as the villain.
A childhood film that I've seen many times. The Johnny Depp remake was okay, but this original film will always be the best. I hadn't seen it in a while, so it was nice to get to watch it again.
The first film in this series is already a top ranking film this season, so it should be no surprise that this film is right up there. I love the Harry Potter films and I was happy seeing this film submitted in the Finals.
