This new music competition will be a tad different from others. Every round, the songs will be entered into a tournament bracket and they will face off in multiple rounds. Each round of the bracket has a set number of points that the songs can accumulate if they win. Me and PrincessKandi2014 will listen to every song in each bracket in order to fully evaluate and determine which songs that we enjoy and like. The accumulation of points at the end of the bracket will determine the placements for that episode and you will each receive the points that your songs earned. Your points will be carried over throughout the competition and the goal is to rack up as many points as possible. The person with the fewest amount of points during an elimination will be eliminated from the competition. I will also post the tournament bracket results after every round in order for you all to see where your songs ended up and how well they fared.
Also, like most music competition games, the songs will be scored according to our personal taste. It's about the songs that we enjoy and we're going to reward the songs that we like. We're aware that there will be drama and arguments on our opinions and that's fine. However, our results are final and we will not award points to a song that we didn't enjoy over one that ew did just because the public says. It's about seeing who can submit the best songs that cater to us.
We will also not be posting comments or critiques about the songs in order to keep our personal tastes hidden. The scores from each song should be enough to determine what we like and dislike. It might take some guesswork from you to figure out which songs to submit. Each round will also have a theme for you to match a song to.
So, I'm hoping for an amazing turnout and I encourage everyone to at least try once. Whether or not you think that you will do well, you might surprise us and yourself.
