𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐖: This song is a fun song to listen to every once in a while. I’d never be able to listen to it more than once in a LONG while. It got annoying to me like 3/4ths of the way through; but the chorus is so fun, and it is a fun song- just a little annoying. Also, the music video is really nothing special. The neon bit at the end is cool- but it’s still the exact same video at the beginning as it is at the end.

𝐑𝐘𝐀𝐍: So… cheesy 80’s music. I guess I understand why a lot of people love it, and I don’t necessarily hate it, but it’s never really been a style of music I’ve been crazy about. With that being said, I thought this song was fine. The only problem is it gets a little repetitive to the point where it becomes annoyingly catchy, and not in the fun way. I can’t say I dislike the song though. I felt the music video could’ve used more creativity, because ultimately it’s just the band performing on a stage. They do a few fun things on stage, but that’s it.

The rest is just mumbled lyrics that aren’t particularly amazing. The video to me also holds no intrigue, the only part I really loved was when the lady fell off of that moving disk thing, it made me laugh. But other than that, it was nothing special.

𝐑𝐘𝐀𝐍: This might be ironic since a couple rounds ago I said I hated One Direction, but I actually don’t mind Harry Styles as an individual artist. He’s made a couple songs that I’ve enjoyed. This song felt very much like it belongs in the 80’s, but not in the cheesy annoyingly catchy way like the last song I judged. The video felt like someone’s artistic vision… it was a little weird. But in this case, I’d say it’s a good kind of weird. It was artistically fun for me to watch.
𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐖: This song is just so fun. As soon as the music starts I’m already bumping my head to it, and getting into the vibes. I know this whole song- start to finish, and it truly is such a banger. Does it have some kind of weird lyrics? Yeah but that’s mainly due to the fact this is a 2008 song, it gives MAJOR late 2000s vibes. The music video is also just really fun, there are some things that don’t I don’t like too much like the scenes with her and the guy standing in the very bad green screen room. But other than that I had a good time watching it, and again it was just very fun.

The song really took me back to my childhood, and I enjoyed it. The video was literally pure chaos, lmao. It was a lot of fun to watch. P!nk gives off those “cool aunt who’ll let you do whatever you want” vibes, and she was literally a riot in this whole video. Thank you for submitting this, getting to listen to it again really made my day!
𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐖: As mentioned before, Beyoncé is not an artist I particularly enjoy. But there are a few songs from when I was younger that I do enjoy. And this is one of those songs. Reason: This was the song we’d always put on for my baby sister to dance to. This was her favorite song! The song is a bop, has some nice musical components but I think the video is really where this song shines. Maybe not so much the actual video but the dance moves, the dance moves in this video are so iconic. There are still some elements that I’m not a fan of, like the plainness of everything else. But it’s still a nice watch and listen.

It's also iconic as I love Glee and I remember the episode where this song was featured. The choreography in the music video is amazing and the song is catchy.

Although, while I didn’t think the choreography was bad, I thought there were some parts of it that were a little odd. The song itself is fine, there’s nothing wrong with it at all… it’s not really what I’d choose to listen to myself though.

It’s just really hard to even understand what she is saying most of the time and it’s really not an interesting song vocally as she seems to carry the same tune throughout the entire song. I do appreciate that with the video they tried to tell a story, at least I think they tried, but the narrative they try to tell doesn’t make any sense and is really confusing. It’s just all really bad for me.

This was the first song I ever heard from Mariah Carey and I used to listen to it all the time back in the day. I can't really understand what she's singing, but I don't care. The music video at least has a narrative. A lot of music videos don't. It's not really all that interesting.

I didn’t really care for the song… to me, it sounds like a lot of other Mariah Carey songs from the same time period, and if you asked me I wouldn’t be able to distinguish them. The video was the standout here… but even saying that, I’m not sure how I felt about it. I couldn’t tell if it was trying to parody a spy movie or if it was trying to go for the sex appeal… maybe it was both, but I feel it kinda blundered on both of them. There was a lot going on, and during the end I couldn’t really tell what was happening. And this literally goes on for 7 minutes…
