So i just played my 4th "fasting" game and thought I was sailing to the final 3 .. just as I was able to play off in my other 3 previous games .. when BAM BLINDSIDE. I must say being on the receiving end was a tough pill to swallow. I will admit I was very angry at first, but with good reason I felt. I worked with an alliance of 5 and had a final 3 deal within that alliance pretty early on. Come to find out the 2 others already had a final 3 deal so when it came down to the alliance things got pretty messy. What I didn't appreciate (and I told this to them) was being BLATANTLY lied to up until the very end. I would have appreciated being given the heads up because in the situation there was nothing I could have done anyhow. And I think thats what hurt my feelings the most..
Then I realized (while hashing it out)...
Would I have done the same thing? Probably... No .. not probably .. Definitely.
It was a good move .. and a very smart one at that and quite frankly there are no rules stating that someone MUST be given a heads up when getting evicted. I forgave these 2 players .. would love to work with them again some time and this experience definitely taught me to always be on my toes. I was 3/3 on getting to the final day and thought it was simple now.. This woke me up .. so theres always a positive! Good game guys!
If you are taking the time to read this blog, I greatly appreciate it as I am still very new to Tengaged and am still learning about it. I am hoping for feedback as I am now very confused. I've enrolled in 3 "fasting" games and I have really enjoyed playing in them. I performed really well and really enjoy having to think on the fly as the game is obviously fast paced. Casting however, is a different story....
I dont know if its because Ive had the misfortune of enrolling in the same game as certain players who generally enjoy being rude, but the attitude I have seen in my first casting game has made it so unenjoyable. Two players in particular (and I wont name names) really get a high off being rude and just very "catty." I have been trying to get to know people and figure out who the casting game works, but I am literally being ignored. I was even told and I quote verbatim :
"okay, here is how castings work. when you are a higher level, you join to talk to your friends you join with. you do not join to get to know new people and help them out. we didnt join to teach people how to play."
I must say I was dumbfounded when I read this. I was sure she was just kidding because I cant figure out why someone would be that rude for no reason at all. I would like to think as I being to form new friendships and earn a higher level status, I would still take the time to get to know others, no matter what level they are, and ask any questions they have.
Are alot of ppl on tengaged like these 2 mean girls, or are there others out there who DO enjoy getting to know new ppl no matter how many friends they have?
