Harry Potter Question

Aug 2, 2014 by JetsRock12
I don't understand the whole Mud-Blood thing..

Like is there something special in people's blood to make them "Wizards" or are you only a wizard because your parents are..

Like for instance.. Instead of Marrying Ron.. Lets say Hermione marries a normal person.. And they have kids... Does that make her kids half wizard because she was a wizard even though she was a mud blood?

Does that make sense?

Hermione was muggle-born. She just happened to be gifted with magic abilities when she was born. Filch had both magical parents and he turned out to be a "squib"; someone who possesses no magic ability. I think it's just something you are born with and it doesn't really depend on heritage, ultimately. Though being a muggle-born wizard/witch is rare.

If hermione married a muggle then the kid would probably be a wizard same as if Harry or Malfoy married a muggle, hermione is a wizard and the wizard gene is stronger when having kids
