Lula is a great leader and I have loved him a lot in the past, more than I do now.
I dont think he is my ideal candidate to rule the country, I have divergent ideologies being a radical leftist at heart
However, I don't go out screaming he is actually kinda bad, first because it would prevent us from having a government that actually takes care of the poorest, giving them education, healthcare and most importantly empathy, secondly because then I would be a pain in the ass sore loser
He was also absolved from all "crimes" he was put into. There was no evidence, all speculation and the judge (Sérgio Moro) was then kicked out a few years later because he misleadingly condened Lula to go to jail with no evidence
It was done in 2018, year of the last election that took place and it only happened because the right-wings forced Bolsonaro as an option and Lula would defeat him then. He had tô be arrested not to win election. Much to our surprise, Sérgio Moro (judge) supported Bolsonaro's government. Clear now Yoko_Homo? There was no crime lol. Lula winning is a victory against neonazism, intolerance, racismo, misóginy, anti-indigenas (I dont feel ok with putting as cherokee since thats yalls culture) and much more. I could go on and on about universities and shit that you called out but this is long enough. Educate yourself
