The new season of Survivor starts! The tribes were split by contestants who participated in the original twelve seasons, and the latest twelve seasons. On Manzana (the old tribe), married couple "Boston Rob" and Amber closely bonded, as they have always. The two created an alliance with Rob and Elisabeth. "Johnny Fairplay" rolled Sandra and Rupert into an unlikely alliance. On Naranja (the new tribe), Penner, Parvati, Courtney, and T.J. formed an alliance, and Christine, Fabio, and Troyzan. In the immunity challenge, Naranja dominated and beat Manzana, sending them to Tribal Council.
Back at the Manzana Tribe, "Johnny Fairplay" found the clue to the immunity idol, and scrambled to try and find it, to no avail. Elisabeth finds out about the clue and tells her alliance, putting a huge target on "Johnny Fairplay". Shii Ann and Stephenie create a female-alliance, and wonder about manipulating the other females to join them.
