UPDATE: Lost AGAIN....... to a Rayquaza in a double team battle so it was a 2v1 basically and he sweeped me *sobs*
I lost my last one early on, so I decided to give it another shot! This team seems more promising.
(RN = Randomized Nuzlocke) Lmk if you'd like a tag :)
- Got my starter, Magby, and named it Burna Boy. The other options were Bagon and Igglybuff. (Igglybuff seemed tempting as a gay, but I realized it had literally no attacking moves by level 5?)
- Caught the first member of the team, Nidorino AKA Sawayamo
- Caught Staryu, AKA Popstar
- Caught Wooper, AKA Goof... which I did not want at all and was eager to throw it in the box ASAP
- Ran into my next team member, Hitmontop... which was extremely ironic considering this was the Pokemon that single-handedly ruined my entire last run by murdering two of my strongest members. I guess it wanted to redeem itself..? Naturally I named it Ruin
- Caught Donphan, AKA Tusque but I already have Nidorino who will evolve into a ground type and until he dies I don't have any interest in using this so to the box he goes
- Caught Tropius, AKA Rosa, who is turning out to be a powerhouse and necessity on this team for sure
- Caught Charizard, AKA Pompeii, who I threw in the PC because I already have a fire type I'm fond of in my starter
- Caught Haunter, AKA Morgue which found itself a spot on the current roster
- Faced the first gym leader, whom which had only one real struggle. I thought in the settings I turned off dragon rage (which does 40 damage no matter what and will destroy my entire team) but apparently it didn't work because this Gible was out for blood. I was not about to lose another Nuzlocke this early and because of something that was out of my control, so I took matters into my own hands and got my girl Rosa high enough in level so she can take a hit and murder it before it swooped my entire team. Call it rig if you want to since I restarted once after I realized I was about to get swept entirely, I could care less seeing as I clicked off in the settings to ban moves like dragon rage and it didn't work for some reason. It was unfair to me. When I took out the Gible, I didn't lose any lives and I won the first gym badge without a fatality. Let's hope this momentum keeps up!
