Yeah. You're right, I did go crazy when Kelley played her idol back in second chances, she had to guess which of the three alliance members was getting votes, and voted out one of the biggest players in the game at the merge.
And I did go crazy when Parvati played two idols in one tribal. She knew one of her alliance was getting votes, read right through Amanda's lies and played them correctly.
Those were bold moves, moves that were made when there were 10+ people left in the game. My only qualm about Devens' idol playing is that it takes absolutely no social prowess to play them at this point; there's no social prowess to it, no right or wrong way to play the idol. I was just as upset about Ben idoling his way to the top in HvHvH, and I was just as mad about the Cirie no-vote elimination in Game Changers. I think Idols need to stop being re-hidden at the final 8 to prevent this kind of buffoonery. Devens doesn't deserve to still be in the game, and that's a fact.
