My boyfriend let me know early on he may never tell his family about me/I may never get to meet them, but that has literally nothing to do with me or him — it’s just the relationship he chooses to keep with them. (He came out to them and they still love him as their son btw.) Idc as long as my bf loves me and we enjoy our lives together.
