Culturally speaking America is a mess. They need to stop shoving this diversity bull down our throats at school. It's sickening and causes more tension than it does peace. I don't understand why we can't adopt a more colorblind kind of mentality where we are judged of of our merits rather than our race, sexual orientation, or gender. I don't see how colored months(White, Black, Asian, Latino, Indian, Native American, Samoan, etc.), Female power months, Gay Pride month, Straight Pride months, whatever, would help our society move forward. In fact I think it moves our society backwards by just separating us all and classifying us into different groups, when we should be seeing ourselves as Americans.
I sometimes feel so confused these days cause of this. For example females in the military.
I don't think it's right. It just doesn't feel right to send out females to fight. I would cause problems too considering culturally we just aren't ready. However at the same time I support it just because the facts add up. number one being the fact that you would Ideally want a 50/50 man women population by the end of the war, so if you sent out and drafted only men and not women, then by the end of the war you would end up with more women than men, and that just doesn't work out considering that polygamy is currently illegal in the US. In addition, I find it wrong that congresswomen have the ability to vote yes on a draft even though they aren't eligible for one(many congressmen are guilty too cause they have connections but they are at least still eligible). It has happened before. The gulf of Tonkin Resolution in 1964. At least 5 women to my account were in congress at the time of the voting and the only two to vote against it were men. So it just seems wrong to me though that a women could vote to put in place a draft to send out men to die even though they never even had been eligible to be drafted at any point in there lives. I guess you could make the same argument with foreign senators and house members though.

just got my first ticket today. A speeding ticket. I mean man, they just hide around all the lil' corners and driveways and BAM! all of sudden you got one trolling behind you sounding their siren.
Did career day.
I signed up for winemaking and they shoved me in cooking instead so that wasn't that fun.
Then International affaris which was interesting.
Last real estate, which was made quite unintersting by the presenter, bleh. Don't know how she sells houses with those presentation skills but who know, maybe shes good
