I went back to high school for 6 months and then picked around for the other 6 months. I needed it. I needed to not take life seriously for just a second
electric basically Chegg for law school. That's the best way to sum it up if you're unfamiliar with the platform. I never used Chegg or anything else in undergrad. But as I'm sure you know, law school is taught/conducted a LOT differently.
There's routinely 50+ pages of reading per day in some 1L classes... there's a saying that goes "first year they scare you to death, second year they work you to death, third year they bore you to death." It's fairly accurate. But a lot of the time, since you aren't accustomed to reading case law, it's hard as a beginner to know what's actually important from the readings. So Quimbee does it for you; it tells you the important parts, condenses a lot of your readings from what could take several hours down to maybe one hour, etc. Also has tons of exam practice.
It's pure gold. I could not live without it. It's $30/mo roughly, but honestly, they could raise it to $50 and I would still pay it.
knowing that michaelf1114 is going to be a lawyer is so iconic to me. didnt do law school but immediately went from undergrad to grad school and was so happy i did!
Gap year if you have opportunity. Bro, I gave up twice from law school bcs I join super young, and I think everybody should have experiences to get self knowledge before decide a professional career
