Today is the 1-year anniversary of the Sinking of the MV Sewol.
It has been a year since the MV Sewol sunk at 8:58AM, April 16, 2014.
This was one of the biggest and most shocking events to have ever occurred in Korea, my country. We will never forget the students of Danwon High School, and the entire nation will remember all students unwillingly sacrificed by the unfortunate series of events that lead to this tragedy. A school field trip turned into the death of more than 300 passengers, and thousands of families of the students and crew members who have been scarred for life.
We will never forget the 304 people who passed away; the students who have moved on from our world, whose ambitious young souls had so much ahead of them. The entire nation prays out to commemorate this heartbreaking disaster that will be left in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
May the 9 bodies who remain unaccounted for be found and rescued. We are sorry, and we will never forget all of you.
The worst part, is no one outside of this country hears of this tragic incident. That's wrong with the US and any countries.. we hear of stupid bullshit in our own country than REAL shit happening else where.. Sorry for what has happened
But yeah, there ARE some stupid U.S. things (e.g. black man gets shot and killed, HUGE RIOTS, nine year old gets raped and impregnated by ISIS, nothing).
