First of all I've been really active on the other site. However, there's another reason why I've been kinda MIA on this site. On May 8, I took a huge step and registered for a HALF MARATHON walk. After that, I was walking and got busy with work. Well, yesterday was the day of my Half and I did it, I WALKED 13 miles. If it wasn't for the Biggest Loser Race Series and a complete stranger telling me he would walk the half with me, I NEVER would've done this. During the race, the person I walked with ended up in so much pain, even when I wasn't. He could've completely quit, but he didn't. He stuck with me every step of the way. There were also a couple people who drove by us and asked if we were ok. He said he wasn't, but he wasn't leaving me, he wasn't about to do that to me. And you know what, he didn't.
That's what I love about The Biggest Loser Race Series, EVERYONE is so supportive and not judgmental. When I crossed that finish line, who did I see? Mark P, Pam Geil and Andrea W and some other people. One individual even asked me if I wanted to finish strong and jog it to the finish line, you know what, I DID! I jogged the last couple feet to the finish line, got a high 5 from Mark and a big hug from Pam. It was very emotional for me, even the day after I'm still on a high from it.
