and why certain folks care very deeply about PALESTINE but also didn't make a peep when this happened to the Armenians via Azerbaijan, Syrians via Assad, Uyghurs via China, or any other genocide?
At some point as much as yall want to deny it, it's more trendy to hate Israelis. I feel like there's a word for that...
our tax money and politicians directly benefit from and contribute to the genocide happening in Palestine. While we probably have some sort of US involvement (arms sale, CIA, etc.) it is not as direct and prevalent. Similar conversation could be made for commentary on what's happening in other parts of the world that *may* have some local politicians (at least from what I know in my own city) involved.
