I bet you guys didn’t think I would actually do results. This is at MY PACE! Anyway, my game is a little different than others on here, I guess. There’s no fancy formats or twists stolen from reality competition shows I don’t watch. Just a theme and then me writing long essays full of random stories and quoting lines from the songs. Bottom gets eliminated, unless I have a round I decide I can’t get rid of anything/
Anyway, here is my commentary for the songs submitted, and they are in order of my favorite first to my least favorite last.
#Thnksfrthmmrs Bon Iver - Holocene
Okay you called this the basic pick and like, while you’re not totally wrong, it’s not first on the list of basic picks (hello Skinny Love), but also, in this case I don’t matter, because I love it so much. This is possibly my favorite Bon Iver song, and it’s definitely one of those songs I can listen to on repeat when I am in one of my moods. This is just so soft and sad and beautiful sounding. “And at once I knew I was not magnificent” is my favorite line. Also, the references to Milwaukee are so perfect. That’s my city! We never get mentioned in cool stuff! Like one of my favorite artists being from my state is pretty cool, because it’s not like Wisconsin is really the hot spot. Justin Vernon has multiple projects, if you aren’t familiar with them I also recommend checking out Volcano Choir, they’re pretty cool. Byegone is a good song and probably their most popular, but Comrade is probably my favorite. Quick interlude to listen to it.

Honestly I am so stoked that you already liked one of my favorite bands, well at least one song enough to add and you came into this PREPARED. Don’t let me down, you were the one who gave me the idea to host this, I expect great things from you! I am super excited for this album to come out. They have been collaborating with a lot of other artists lately, there was the one with Bon Iver that I submitted to XMC, and then on the upcoming album there’s one with Sufjan Stevens, and two with Phoebe Bridgers. Anyway, back to the song itself. I’ve already listened to it several times before this of course, and I liked it, I feel like their sound has evolved a bit throughout the years, I don’t know, different eras I guess, I’m shockingly bad at describing music, but it’s kind of cool listening to the evolution of their music and stuff, not saying any is better than the others, but they have sort of a more polished sound now which is interesting. Pink Rabbits will probably always be my favorite by them, but I do like this song.

Hello muses! Welcome to Round 3!
Music comes from all around the world. There is more to it then iconic Lady Gaga or old times like Cyndi Lauper. The beauty of it is seeing how these resonate in their homes. Every year new songs are formed, and they should be presented for us all to see. Oh wait! There is a way to see it! That is the theme for this challenge!
Welcome to my personal favorite: EUROVISION
I love songs that have made their mark there. They ranged from really catchy pop hits to the most beautiful of ballads. So for this challenge I need you to submit to a Eurovision hit!
Things to remember (well one thing):
They have to have qualified for the main show, they cannot be song that almost made it. So no second place from Lithuania or third place is Moldova. They need to have made it to actual big Eurovision stage!
You guys have until tomorrow at 7 pm EST time to send me a track that makes me wanna book a flight right away. For the two that fail to hit the worldwide charts, you will face elimination!

If both judges use their Judge's Save on both people in the Bottom Two, then both people will be safe and there will be no elimination for that episode, giving them both a second chance.

▪ 𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐈𝐗: The song has a serene feeling as you listen to it. Niall Horan released a couple of songs that I know, but I've never heard this song before. There are moments in the song that are catchy. Overall, it's a good song and I enjoyed it.
▪ 𝐍𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐄: I didn’t love or hate this and the beat was catchy. I couldn’t see myself picking this for my own playlist, but I also wouldn’t skip it if it came on.
