Hey Tengaged! I wasn't expecting a return to the Stars house so soon but the raffle had other ideas! I thought I'd share some stuff about me since I am making more & more friends here and I thought you might want to get to know me better! I am close to turning 22 so I'll share 22 things ;) Some things are fun/light, others more serious.

1: This is my second time winning the raffle! I just won it like 8 weeks ago so I'm #shook but let's roll!
2: I'm going for a public shop! There's a definite lack of affordable designs for most of TG so I am aiming to open a shop with affordable prices! #QueenofthePeople
3: I am a polyglot! My native language is English but I thoroughly enjoy learning other languages and about other cultures & their history. My major is French studies and I've also significantly studied Portuguese, Italian, & Spanish, as well as having studied some Catalan, German, and Swedish.
4: My name, Noelle, is the French word for Christmas! The name is traditionally given only on December 24th, 25th, and 26th. My birthday is the 26th <3 Although it was not traditionally given...
5: I chose it! It is actually not the first time I've changed my name, either. Tea! I am transgender and I started transitioning about 6 years ago. I changed my name rather immediately and Noelle was the name I chose to be my middle name. Over the years I slowly regretted that decision more and more until I changed my first name to Noelle last November!
6: I LOVE CHRISTMAS! If my name wasn't an indication enough, I just wanted to put this out there <3 Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year baby! The movies, the music, the mood in the air...chefs kiss.
7: I might have been born the day after Christmas, but I have a Christmas baby sister! (and a New Year's baby cousin.) I actually have NINE SIBLINGS!
8: Sadly, I didn't get to grow up with any of them and there is one that I've never even met. They are all technically half siblings but I don't like that term - if a parent is shared, you're siblings periodt! There are only 3 I have the fortune to visit somewhat regularly.
9: Did someone say fortune? Yeah, I don't have one of those LOL. I actually had some issues with spending once I got out on my own and it kinda seemed like I was finally out of poverty - we love the financial aid illusion. Well, that few thousand was gonna be hard to catch up on...and then I went and got a facial feminization surgery! So..guess who officially declared bankruptcy back in the spring? LOL ME :(
10: I am doing much better though <3 I've learned from those mistakes. I even have my own car now (paid off!) and my own apartment :)
11: Although it was not a great situation that lead me to getting this apartment. I was living with my mother and she is severely mentally ill. She ended up kicking me out because she felt like I wasn't appreciative enough and was mad I opened my window to cool down sometimes. She randomly said I..

Omg I am so #shook and need to vent.
OK SO, I'm certified as an English Teacher, but I'm going for my cross-certification in math (because grading essays is the worst) while simultaneously enrolled in a graduate program (classes overlap). My enrollment officially starts in fall, but I'm taking one math class right now because I can get cross-certified before actually getting my masters.
However, as a non-matriculated student, I had late access to class sign-ups and the class was full, so I talked to the head of the math department (I'm going to call her Dr. Mary Smith for anonymity) and she said it was fine if I showed up to the first day of the class with an override form. So I did this, the prof signed the form, and it was, indeed, fine.
This whole time, I'd been corresponding with Dr. Mary Smith by email, and I set up an appointment to get her to sign my form after the prof did. And she did sign my form - I'm enrolled in the class. BUTTTTTTTT HOLY SHIT DID SHE DRAG ME FOR DIRT???? Apparently one time, ****ONE TIME*** in an email, I'd accidentally called her "Mary" instead of "Dr. Smith" and the first thing she said to me during our meeting was that she was tempted not to sign my form because of it, then went on to rant about how I was so disrespectful, how such behavior would never fly in the professional world (lol).
I've literally been out of school, working with teachers who I'm used to calling by first name, for almost three years. I apologized right away and yet??????? She continued to drag me for *FIFTEEN MINUTES* before FINALLY, FINALLY signing my form.
I'm just so annoyed kldsjfkldsjf god I left so flustered and sad and #shook
