In the city of Heavener, Oklahoma, nothing ever happens. The residents of Heavener are either trying to find a way out, or count down the days until they die. A perfectly boring American town - that is, until the military suddenly forms a blockade around the city limits, keeping anyone from entering or leaving. The reason for their imprisonment is unexplained, causing a stir of excitement and gossip among the people who live there. But when they slowly realize the truth behind their imprisonment, they will wish that nothing in their town had ever changed at all.
