After just 2 days into the games, only 10 tributes remain.
Pretty soon, we will have our Victor.
But in order for one tribute to win, the others have to die. So let’s kill some more off, shall we?
-The Career Girls-
Sparkle has emerged from her hiding spot for the night. It was another bedroom.
Sparkle decides to try and find a different level of the bunker to stay on so she can stay away from the stronger tributes, specifically the only other career that is still alive.
She finds the staircase and makes her way up to cornucopia (There is no staircase downward, the only way to get to another level is by using another entrance). Suddenly, she feels as if she’s being watched... as if she’s being followed. She turns around and sees nothing. She then continues walking.
And then... someone tackles her to the ground.
Dani, the surviving member of the career pack, has been following Sparkle, getting ready to attack.
Dani: Well hi! It’s been a while since we’ve spoken, huh?
She then pulls out a knife.
Dani: Let’s catch up!
She prepares to plunge the knife down into her victim, but Sparkle is able to grab one of her arrows and stab her attacker in the arm.
As Dani is stunned, Sparkle takes the opportunity to tackle her. However, Dani and Sparkle have matching strength, and therefore go into a struggle.
They don’t even notice that they’ve stumbled into one of the bunker’s entrances until they both fall down the stairs at the same time.
They find themselves in the industrial level. They continue to fight, throwing kicks and punches, seemingly forgetting that they have weapons.
However, this changes when Sparkle stabs Dani with another arrow, this time in her leg.
Dani is unable to stand for a moment, and Sparkle considers killing her off. But then, she hears people in the distance, and decides it would be best is she just left while she has the chance.
Sparkle: It was nice catching up. We should do it again sometime.
Sparkle returns to cornucopia, and then enters yet another entrance in the bunker.
Sparkle is now in the Cafeteria level.
-Industrial Area-
Ji and Hayden have camped out all night in what looks to be a boiler room. They are having a discussion about their lives outside of the games.
Ji: So... you’re a drug addict?
Hayden: N-no! I’m not a drug addict... I just did drugs... a lot.
Ji: That’s what a drug addict is!
She laughs.
Hayden: I only did it when I was..
