There's always a bias whether it's race, sex, genre, personal history or language. But a movie is a movie. Considering how many movies are released each year, it just sucks that some great ones don't get recognised and some that do you think, "Really?" And this is in regards to all categories.
With all that said...Birdman was a great movie and I was so happy when it won Best Picture last year. Although Straight Outta Compton should be nominated, I'm hoping for Room to win best picture.
But I'm not staying up so...yeah...have fun, whoever is planning to watch it. XD

That one girl who sang that Julia Andrew's song was pretty good.
The 87th Academy Awards are tonight! So excited about all the Oscar fashion, seeing flawless performances by Rita Ora and Lady Gaga, and obviously the awards!
I'm hoping to see Eddie Redmayne and Rosamund Pike take the Best Actor and Best Actress awards. As for Best Supporting Actress, I'm happy with either Keira Knightley, Emma Stone, or Meryl Streep. Oh, and fingers crossed for Grateful and Diane Warren to win Best Original Song! I don't even have a pick for the Best Picture award, because I feel like they were all great movies, I just didn't really have a stand-out.
