For those of you who don't know this story... its QUITE the doozy. Some of the flashback blogs I've made this week have been from a 3rd person POV... but this one... I was on the inside.
Back in early day Tengaged, it was all about how many "alliances" you were a part of. Getting caught in a game without a good group of friends or allies usually resulted in a shitty placement... Major groups like, "The OC", "ETNAL", etc. (Im blanking on some of the bigger ones) were created to make sure you did well in games. These "factions" per se were essentially what caused randomize to make, "frats"
Now to the crazy stuff, #TheActives were created by #wwemrpeeps (with the help of megan) under the ruse of helping out newer "unknown" players that Doug (wwemrpeeps) would meet in games. Most of these users that Doug would meet were under the age of 15 and in the closet. At first, I thought that was just a coincidence, but thinking back, I know it was all an elaborate plan.
When I first met Doug, it was in a frooks in 2010, when I first joined the site. I was continuously getting shit placements until I started hanging around the Actives. As soon as I was branded as an "Active", I kinda just went with it. I kept getting great placements and Doug really seemed to care for me.... that was until he started expecting things from me.
Doug first asked for a picture of me when I was 13. When I sent my picture to him, I was an awkward ugly 13 year old boy. His first response was, "yum".... It took him about 2 months to ask for a shirtless picture of me, where i rebuffed his request instantaneously. He told me that he wouldn't show anyone, and i still denied him.... this is what kinda halted our friendship. At one point, he asked to pay for my plane ticket to bring me out to Minnesota so he could blow me (I was 13 - and yes he knew my age).
There is much more to my story, but for my mental health I really don't want to go back and try to remember all of the shit he asked me for, because its truly embarrassing.
He became much closer to other male underage users that were around my age. Whenever I tried joining games with them, I would be the first one evicted out of the alliance every game we joined. I kinda took the hint and officially "left" the alliance.
Doug knew my age, he knew that he was over the age of 20 at the time, and he ran #TheActives as a pedophile ring to lure underage male users into thinking that he could help them do good in games in return for pictures of them.
Watching him play games was even worse... if you've never had the opportunity to see one of his RANTS or OUTBURSTS during a bad frooks placement... you truly missed out. He became synonymous with prolonging frooks (at this time it was 12 hour DC's), in order to receive more plusses to increase his shot at HoH.
