#8. John Newman - Come And Get It
Submitted by ricktworick1
TSC 203: 2nd - 92 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5exsScaHWo
This is a very fast-paced, fervent, contemporary pop song - by far my favourite John Newman song.
#7. Eden xo - Too Cool To Dance
Submitted by CharlieBibi
TSC 194: 11th - 61 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAuY9TWichM
This song is a bit of a guilty pleasure but I seriously do enjoy this. The verses are great, the build in the beat is amazing, and the chorus is a lot of fun. Perfect summer song.
#6. Ella Eyre - Good Times
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 210: 2nd - 128 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUXaiHr6M9s
Even though Together happened to win, I think Good Times is a lot better and more distinct-sounding. Ella appeared at #34 on last year's list with If I Go, so she happened to break her record with Good Times. This was definitely one of my most listened to songs this summer. This should have won its contest (sorry Insanity).
#5. Josef Salvat - Open Season
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 218: 1st - 100 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXiMS5XW6kA
Sorry it's not LP. Altogether, Josef has over 200 points with all of his entries! Josef appeared twice on last year's ranking, at #5 (Shoot And Run) and #46 (This Life). Open Season is probably my favourite Josef song as well (Ella and John achieved that title with their entries on this update as well). But sadly Josef wasn't able to break his record at #5. Any ways, Josef is massively underrated and he (particularly this song) deserves more attention.

#12. Adam Lambert - Another Lonely Night
Submitted by codydehart
TSC 224: 16th - 50 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT_xnNh5wbE
Cody's first entry on the list. I'm not a big Lambert fan by any means, but I love both this song and video. I had planned on submitting this, and I was consequently surprised that it didn't go over well with most people. I guess this isn't for everyone but I love the synthpop undertones to this. Ghost Town is another great song from Adam's latest album, but this song feels a lot more raw and genuine. I really like the direction Adam went with his last album, and this song tops it off.
#11. Delta Goodrem - Wings
Submitted by FlameonX
TSC 212: 4th - 84 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PggGqkZgsk
This song is very Eurovision which is probably why I like it so much. Even though Delta is a competent performer, I'm not sure whether this song would succeed internationally. But nevertheless, this is fun and flows nicely. This is also Flame's first entry on the list as well so yay for that.
#10. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out
Submitted by CrazyCourtney0
TSC 203: 15th - 54 points
Awarded 8 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXRviuL6vMY
CrazyCourtney kicks off my top 10, another debutant on this list - the third on this update! I appreciate Twenty One Pilot's music a lot and I'm pretty sure this is my favourite song of theirs. I love the combination of musical styles in this. The sound is quite unique, and at the end of the day its inclusion in the Top 10 was warranted.
#9. Calvin Harris - Pray To God
Submitted by dragotistic
TSC 207: 1st - 115 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FOBxcluXdk
Up next is drago's debut winner entry, Pray To God. This song was slightly obvious in its contest, but I still think its been rather overlooked as all the attention has been on How Deep Is Your Love. This and Summer are probably my favourite Calvin songs, but I appreciate what HAIM bring to this song, and I think the amalgamation of cool vocals and sick beat put this over the edge. This is definitely among my favourite songs of the year.

#16. Foxes - Feet Don't Fail Me Now
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 215: 1st - 109 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89KkQvOrp-A
This is probably the only Foxes music video that hasn't passed 1 million views, which is a little upsetting as I think this is her best song. The verses are great and the chorus is subtle yet effective. Had I won TSC 215, I would have had 4 wins in a row (213 - 216), but if I were to lose to anyone, I'm glad it was this.
#15. Jessica Mauboy - This Ain't Love
Submitted by ricktworick1
TSC 217: 2nd - 116 points
Awarded 8 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afGpIdl6fVM
I wasn't completely sold on this song at first but it has definitely grown on me as of recently, as expected. There are tons of songs like this out there but structurally, I really enjoy this from Jessica's voice to the build into the chorus and the chorus itself. In retrospect, I would give this 12, which wouldn't have changed anything, so it's all good.
#14. Samir & Viktor - Saxofuckingfon
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 219: 7th - 86 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4Nze8zCslQ
This song is probably a guilty pleasure of mine. I didn't care for their MF entry, but this is miles better. This isn't for everyone but the drop is so jumpy and upbeat, and I enjoy the verses as well. I'm pretty sure I just like anything with a saxophone. The reason this didn't get my full 12 is because Sirusho has been among my favourites for a long time. I had even almost sent her to last year's foreign contest. The reason Sirusho, however, isn't on this list is because I had known about PreGomesh before 2015, whereas I had discovered this earlier in the year, so I found it fitting to still include this in my top songs of 2015 list even though I had known about this before its contest.
#13. Zara Larsson - Lush Life
Submitted by ricktworick1
TSC 212: 2nd - 94 points
Awarded 8 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD4HCZe-tew
I feel this song turned Zara mainstream. This is simply a fun, upbeat radio-friendly song so its charting success doesn't surprise me. This will also probably mark Zara's likelihood toward more upbeat songs in the future. I definitely prefer this to a lot of her slower songs, with Never Forget You being an exception, but that song barely counts as it still has a distinctive beat. But any ways, I highly enjoy this.

#20. Kygo - Here For You
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 216: 4th - 70 points

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBESAFzAzw8
Kicking off the Top 20 with Norwegian DJ Kygo alongside Ella - a great combination. Ella's voice completely suits this song, and the beat is just what you'd expect from Kygo. This is the highest ranked song of its genre on this list, beating out Broiler and Jasmine Thompson. This is catchy and remains consistently so throughout. This has a great summer feel to it and I just really appreciate that.
#19. Sevyn Streeter - How Bad Do You Want It
Submitted by TolisKalkas
TSC 209: 8th - 50 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ugaq6r6sQE
I was already unintentionally familiar with this song as I knew Utopia by Bang La Decks which this song samples. I really appreciate the addition of a female vocal to the soundtrack of Utopia, which is pretty sick in itself. This song is full of energy and is just a really enjoyable listen each time.
#18. Eva Simons - Policeman
Submitted by smi9127
TSC 222: 1st - 106 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLRWXD96_yU
I'm really happy to have discovered this in the dance-pop themed contest, as this is utmost fun and memorable. The ending is a tad underwhelming but the rest of the beat makes up for it.
#17. Zedd - Beautiful Now
Submitted by ricktworick1
TSC 214: 7th - 55 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1a7o44WxNo
Another great combination here with Zedd and Jon Bellion. This is probably my favourite Zedd song. The beat is catchy, the buildup into the drop is well-timed, and Jon's vocal is great. Everything about this is right.

Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 196: 5th - 85 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fYeiGeuTFA
MNEK's second song on the list, this time as a solo act. This is a song I thought could have won at the time and was at one point one of my most listened to TSC songs of the year. Great vocal here, and the beat is so jumpy and fun. The drop is everything. This song has a great energy and it definitely gets me pumped up.
#23. Jasmine Thompson - Adore
Submitted by Catch_a_falling_star
TSC 214: 5th - 73 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyG9La0PAsM
I can't believe this girl is only 15. I also love "Ain't Nobody" but honestly this is way better. This song verges on house but it has more elements to it that make it sound more so like a conventional pop song, but it's still not like most other traditional pop songs. This has a very soft and fragile sound, thanks to Jasmine's voice, and the actual song is very catchy and progresses nicely. Discovering this was definitely a high point of this TSC year.
#22. Noonie Bao - Pyramids
Submitted by Insanity
TSC 225: 12th - 43 points
Awarded 8 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGlHaYE0boI
Steven's first song on the list!! I don't think this song was even on his Top 20 list. Any ways, I remember loving a Noonie Bao entry back in the day so the fact that I felt similarly about this song wasn't surprising. I love the verses and the chorus delivers. This didn't get my top points but she definitely gave Fleur a run for her money in my mind.
#21. Dotter - Dive
Submitted by Catch_a_falling_star
TSC 208: 7th - 80 points
Awarded 8 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LRntDo-pF0
Catch's second song on this update and sixth song in total. It wasn't until after its contest that I really fell in love with this. In hindsight I would give this the full 12 as it's the highest ranked TSC 208 entry on the list. This was one of my most played songs this summer, so it brings back a lot of fun summer memories, but this song has a very summery theme to it already. I love the instrumentation, and the chorus is breathtaking. You can tell this is Swedish.

Submitted by TolisKalkas
TSC 190: 1st - 89 points

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_7Dl9MK_1U
At first listen I thought to myself, great vocal, but the song itself is a bit too abrasive. But I've come to enjoy the harshness of this so if I could go back in time I'd definitely give this more, but it still won! Everything about this is pretty genius, specifically the instrumentation and backing vocals. It took time, but great song.
#26. Josef Salvat - Till I Found You
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 202: 2nd - 108 points
Awarded 10 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOCtm0bUC08
Josef has become one of my all-time favourite artists. He appeared on my TSC 2014 ranking in #5 (Shoot And Run) and #46 (This Life). This isn't my favourite Josef song but it's still pretty damn good. The song itself is a bit moody but very powerful. The chorus is probably my favourite part of this song. The buildup was effective, and the end-result delivers.
#25. Melanie Martinez - Pity Party
Submitted by Music
TSC 211: 10th - 57 points
Awarded 12 points
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bAPlojfgO0
If you told me 2 years ago that Melanie would appear in my Top 25 of this ranking I'd think you were kidding. I did not like Melanie on The Voice, and while I have tolerated her music since then, this is the first song of hers that has really stood out to me. The whole thing is a tad unconventional, as most of her songs are, but this is probably the catchiest of her songs. I still love this.

Submitted by tbbars
TSC 197: 6th - 77 points

As previously mentioned, I love Broiler, so I love the sound to this. This is very solemn at first glance but I feel the beat brings it to life. Also the train sound at the end of the video as if the train is about to hit the girl is very haunting.
#31. Bebe Rexha - Cry Wolf
Submitted by Aquamarine
TSC 194: 5th - 80 points

I love Bebe, and I think she's underrated. This song hasn't really gotten much attention, but I think maybe because it's a demo version? I'm not sure, but nevertheless, I dig this.

Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 199: 5th - 84 points

And we begin the Top 30 with a song I feel is overlooked. She sounds a lot like Rihanna, and the song itself is great. I remember thinking this could win at the time. Any ways, this has a nice, captivating tune and is all-around enjoyable.
#29. MNEK & Zara Larsson - Never Forget You
Submitted by Fritzyyyyy
TSC 223: 2nd - 87 points

Every song from this point on are probably my all-time favourite TSC songs of the year, so ranking between them was difficult. I love both this song and video. The video is actually quite sad, but the song is really magical and I'm not surprised to see its success in such a short period of time. Also MNEK and/or Zara may make more appearances on this list! Submitted by mack3199
TSC 209: 21st - 19 points

This is a random favourite of mine but I love a Broiler Remix of about anything, so this was without a doubt going to appeal to me. The verses are really haunting, and I think the beat is just fab. I think I just like anything with a saxophone. Any ways, this is underrated.
#35. Hailee Steinfeld - Love Myself
Submitted by Js21

This isn't the highest ranked TSC 222 song on this list, but the reason this got my 12 is because I had planned on submitting it. I dig MO's style, and while I think this song is rather haphazard sounding, I really enjoy it.
#33. John Newman - Lights Down

I don't think I've ever disliked a John Newman song. This isn't my favourite song by him (as if that isn't a hint as to what to expect later), but this is still pretty damn good. Mittens always comes out of the woodwork once a year and submits a winning entry. I've never cared for Karmin but this is really good. A very rustic sounding song with a great chorus. This progresses rather nicely, and there are a couple of elements to it I really enjoy. Deserving winner.

Submitted by ianfitz0012

Submitted by smi9127
TSC 217: 14th - 45 points

Even though I had only given this 5 points to begin with, this has definitely become a strange favourite of mine. The whole thing is repetitive, but it's quite captivating and catchy I feel. There are many components to the instrumentation that I really enjoy, and I appreciate all the subtle changes of pace throughout. This song makes me feel happy, and thought it deserved a spot on this rank.

Submitted by ricktworick1

This song has definitely grown on me since its TSC appearance, where I had only given it 5 points. I wasn't head over heels for this at first but it has probably become my favourite Jess Glynne song. The whole song is pretty fantastic, but the chorus is especially good, and a bit distinctive from her other songs, a lot of which sound the same to me. I also love that solo drum bit toward the end. The instrumentation is definitely a high point here. If I could go back to TSC 209 I'd probably score this higher, but then again, there are *3* more songs from TSC 209 on this list!

I came across this song this summer and was like, "Wow! I should send this to TSC!", so I checked the Google Doc and saw it had been submitted. So yeah this song has definitely grown on me. The buildup through this is great and plus he's Canadian, so yay!
