Once the blog expires, we will move onto hollywood week.
So here's a little more on the format:
Similarly to TkI13, the judges will score you in 2 categories.
- 10 points for vocal performance
- 10 points for performance.
Different to TkI14,
- each judge will have one category assigned to them, each judge will not know which category it is and will potentially change week-by-week.
- not all the judges scores will apply. It will be similar to sporting events that are judged in which the highest and lowest scores from the judges will be dropped. (number of judges per category will affect how many scores are dropped)

Tengaged (Karaoke) Idol 14: Applications now..

For those of you that don't know this group, and wonder ‘how is it different from the other 50 Idol/X-factor groups,’ this group is different because we don't use celebrities or famous people. TENGAGED USERS compete in this singing competition! SO IF YOU SIGN UP YOU WILL BE SINGING!
YOU DO NOT NEED AN AUDITION PIECE! I just need to see how many people intend to join. The next week is Hollywood week where the contestants will be broken up into groups and perform for the judges.
Tengaged (Karaoke) Idol 14's theme will be similar to T(k)I13 in which it will be "idol" but with scores. More on the concept will be revealed through clues in blog throughout the week of sign-ups, but here's your first clue:
Clue to theme: This season will have more judges than ever before. Which means we need a lot more applications for the judges panel this year! Here's the Mentor/Judge Application (Deadline 8/23/15 11:59 EDT)

Contestants
Each week, you will be asked to perform a song that will go along with the theme of the week. (In later rounds, you will be asked to perform 2 song, but that’s only if you make it to approx. top 6 or 7)
For the auditions/application, YOU DO NOT NEED AN AUDITION PIECE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SIGN UP! Don’t worry if you don’t include a piece in your application, it will not affect you negatively.
