- This is based on my personal opinion - I mean there's a reason it's MY LIST. Please do not take any offense from what I think of. Strictly my own thoughts
- Contrary to some weird belief, I don't believe that my music taste is better than anyone else's, although I have no idea if it's useful to post that because every year there are some idiots crying about their songs not being appreciated enough. This list is for you all to have some fun and laugh at possible comments I make.
- I also include some of my own entries, but don't worry, I'm not that arrogant to have more than 10 entries about myself
8. Nina Nesbitt - Chewing Gum - #ricktworick1, TSC226, 2nd, 121 pts

This is my highest charting song on this list, so your hopes of me being extremely selfish are gone. Back to music, this is obviously Nina's best song. Long gone are her folkish, rather boring songs, possibly inspired by her ex-boyfriend Ed Sheeran (who happens to do pop-folk correctly) and I can see that their post break-up tantrum is gone, because Nina finally doesn't suck. For he standards, this is an extremely aggressive pop song with synth elements inspired by 80s music. The intro is obviously inspired by Tove Lo's decent single "Talking Body," and it definitely fits the feel of the song. Her cute and bubbly personality is pretty much non-existent in this tune, and I LOVE THAT. I am just hoping that Nina will continue going down this pop route, because as soon as she goes back to that folk area, she will be forgotten yet again.
7. Destra - Lucy - #onemanarmy, TSC232, 1st, 114 pts

This song didn't get a single point from me in TSC232, so you may be wondering how the fuck did this tune made it into my top 10, all the way to number 7? Well, like most of the songs on my favourites chart, it has been a consistent grower, but to the extent that at one point "Lucy" would have 50 plays on my phone per day. This song is trashy in a way that it actually keeps the right balance between going hard and staying within what I call "good music area." In addition to that, Soca was never a popular genre in TSC or even internationally, so to see something so different win a contest was definitely a step forward much needed for this group game. If it asks you to get loose, then comply to that.
6. Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha - In The Name Of Love - Dash, TSC250, 2nd, 98 pts

As soon as I heard that Martin Garrix was going to collaborate with Bebe Rexha, my expectations went up by a substantial amount. I mean Martin is one of my favourite DJs around, and Bebe has that distinct sound to her vocal that makes her stand out in the ocean of female pop singers. Honestly, when this got..
