On the same day as the Derek Chauvin Guilty Verdict, Columbus PD shot a 15-year-old girl Makiyah Bryant four times in the chest which killed her.
Makiyah called the cops for help as she was being threatened by a group of girls. Bryant had a knife on her as a tool of defence.
young women are told everyday to keep weapons such as mace or even a small pocket knife to defend themselves but when #MakhiaBryant actually had one to avoid being beaten up, police shoot her right away without hesitation. we all know this is not right. say her name.
