Spotlight Fight

Each person may apply up to 4 TIMES but only once in any 4 of the following categories:

(Singing)
- Girls
- Boys
- Over 30’s
- Duos/Groups

(Other)
- Dancers
- Musicians
- Magicians/Danger/Horror Acts
- Comedians/Impressionists/Ventriloquists

ONLY 6 ARTISTS MAX IN EACH CATEGORY WILL BE ACCEPTED TO COMPETE IN THIS SEASON!

For example once the ‘Girls’ category gets 5 applications nobody else can apply with a female singer (under the age of 30) anymore!

FORMAT-

ROUND 1:

There are 8 different categories with 6 acts in each making a total of 48 contestants and each category will fight against another category to try and take the “spotlight”.

Each category pairing will be randomised using Chatzy and then within the category pairing they will fight for the spotlight against someone from the other category chosen. For example, if Chatzy chooses Groups and then chooses Dancers, the groups and dancers will be fighting it out to impress the judges. 1 group will take on 1 dancer and the judges will decide who moves on. This will happen for all 8 categories.

ROUND 2:

The 24 remaining contestants will all perform and the judges will score every contestant and the 6 acts with the lowest scores will automatically be eliminated from the competition while the TOP 3 will automatically book themselves a place in ROUND 4.

ROUND 3:

18 contestants remain while 3 are immune and the other 15 will all perform and the 3 contestants with the lowest scores will be eliminated.

ROUND 4:

The remaining 15 acts will then be split into 3 teams of 5 via Chatzy and will all perform. The team with the overall highest score will ALL BE IMMUNE IN ROUND 5 and will perform again in ROUND 6. The team with the second highest score will be safe and move onto the next round and the 3 acts with the lowest scores in the worst team will automatically be eliminated while the top 2 of that team will be in the FIGHT OFF where the judges will decide who stays and who goes.

ROUND 5:

11 acts remain, 5 are immune meaning 6 will perform and the top 3 will be safe while the bottom 3 will be in the FIGHT OFF in which 2 will be eliminated and 1 will survive, the judges will decide who stays and goes.

ROUND 6:

The 9 remaining acts will all perform and this time it’s a regular week where 7 are safe and the bottom 2 FIGHT OFF which will end in 1 being eliminated and 1 surviving, decided by the judges.

SEMI FINALS (THE BLOODBATH):

The 8 remaining acts will all perform and the 3 acts with the highest scores will book a place in the finale! While the lowest 3 scoring acts will be auto eliminated and the 2 contestants that placed 4th and 5th will FIGHT OFF and the final finalist will be decidedly the judges!

FINALE:

The final 4 acts will battle it out to become the first contestant to gain the SPOTLIGHT and will be the very first winner of the season!
