Welcome back everyone to the 8th Season of The Voice!
This season we are changing it up and allowing teams of 7!
Have a look at the new Format!
FORMAT:
Auditions - 28 make it (7 per team)
Battles - Ryan will get to choose 1 person to receive a Fast Pass to the Playoffs! The remaining 6 in the team will be put in 3 battles of 2. So in total there will be 12 Battles and 12 Battle Winners and then 4 steals (1 per coach)
Playoffs/Top 20 - Perform 1 song. Each coach will then select their Top 3. Ryan will select a wildcard from each team to be shortlisted and then they'll battle each other and get the coveted Wildcard Spot! [7 eliminated] [Allowed to use this performance again in the Live Shows]
Top 13 - Perform 1 song. Top 9 in Rankings will be safe. 13th and 12th will be auto-eliminated. 11th and 9th will be in Sing-Off. [3 eliminated]
Top 10 - Perform 1 song. Top 7 in Rankings will be safe. 10th will be auto-eliminated. 9th and 8th will be in Sing-Off. [2 eliminated]
Top 8 - Perform 1 song. Top 5 in Rankings will be safe. 8th will be auto-eliminated. 7th and 6th will be in Sing-Off. [2 eliminated]
Top 6 - Perform 1 song. Top 3 in Rankings will be safe. 6th will be auto-eliminated. 5th and 4th will be in Sing-Off. [2 eliminated]
Finale/Top 4 - Perform 2 songs:
1. New Performance
2. Song Of The Season
Essentially you will need to have at least 8 performances.
Sing-Off songs can be used again in the Live Shows or can be a song you used previously in the Auditions, Battles, Knockouts.
You are allowed to apply with a maximum of 3 (THREE) artists!
