Route 5:
The Route down the Mt Moon mountainside and through a small parcel of open land is filled with basic Pokemon, some blown here by the wind. The land is filled with tall grass and a small pond to the north, ripe for finding Pokemon.

Pokemon:
Mostly average Pokemon like Rattata, Pidgey, Ekans, but sometimes rarer Pokemon like Cottonee and Hoppip will appear, it all depends on the situation. There are Goldeen, Finneon, and some other water-type Pokemon within the waters as well outside of Cerulean Cave, which is guarded at all times.

Cerulean City:
Although a Metropolis, Cerulean City is very spacious, and includes many small plots for vegetation, fountains, and thus has a wide variety of Pokemon around most of the time. Bird Pokemon can be found almost anywhere, but the REAL pull is to the bridge in the North of Town.

Available Places:
Bike Shop
Bakery
Gym
Berry Powder Man

Route 5: (Continued)
Route 5 continues south of Cerulean, leading to Saffron City. There's nothing of interest here because the grass has been removed for the most part, making it a travelable road. The Only noticeable place of interest is the Day Care.

Pokemon:
Meowth, Cottonee, Burmy, Hoothoot, and some other Pokemon appear here constantly.

Route 24:
North of Cerulean City, across the Bridge, a wide variety of Pokemon can be found in the Inlet that makes up the Route. Bill's House is the only real attraction, as the land ends and is replaced by sea.

Pokemon:
Oddish, Paras, Sandshrew, Doduo, Hoothoot, Houndour, Poochyenna, Zigzagoon, Heracross, Pinsir, Beautifly, Girafarig, and many other Pokemon can be found here.

Route 9:
Leading to the Power Plant, Route 9 hosts no special region or anything remarkable. The combination of Water and Land do tend to bring a variety of Pokemon, but no special types. It connects to Route 10.

Pokemon:
The Pokemon that appear here are mediocre.

Route 10:
The Power Plant and Rock Tunnel exist on this route. nothing else is notable about it, however.

Pokemon:
The Pokemon that appear here are strong in power, but mediocre in typing and abilities. The closer you are to the Power Plant, the more electric types you'll come across.

Saffron City:
A city of Team Rocket Grunts and poor people trying to scrape by, Saffron City is RIPE with storylines, not to mention Sabrina's Gym. The Fighting Dojo beside the Gym provides a place to train. The Saffron Magnet Train to the Northwest of the City offers access to the Johto Region via Goldenrod City. The Pokemon Trainer Fan Club is the only place of interest besides these. Besides that, however, it is a rather boring place to be.

Pokemon:
NONE

Pokemon:
Pokemon such as Growlithe, Ponyta, Bellsprout, Pineco, Zigzagoon, Rhyhorn, many Bird Pokemon, and much more.

Route 7:
A small, short route between Saffron City and Celadon City, Route 7 is noticeable mostly because of the steep slope Trainers must walk along, which threatens to send them falling down towards the Vermillion Coastline should they miss a step.

Pokemon:
Mareep, Growlithe, Tauros, and many other Plains Pokemon can be found on the slopes, mostly herded there by their owners, but some wild Pokemon can also be found.

Celadon City:
The City of the Shopping Spree, Celadon is home to one of the Pokemon League Gyms, the Game Corner for Gambling, many appartment buildings, the Celadon Department Store, a world-famous Restaurant for Pokemon trainers only, and much much more.

Pokemon:
There are no Pokemon around Celadon City, thanks to the Team Rocket influence in its borders.
