Bio: At the ripe age of twenty-three, Jade Mejia sure is existing. A city girl through and through, she lives with her younger sister, Raven, and their grandmother in a place the trio can barely afford on a good day. While she attempts to put on an air of being calm, cool, and collected, underneath it all she's wishy-washy, cautious to the point that it takes her hours to come to a decision on anything, very opinionated yet quick to freeze at the first sign of things going wrong, and so on and so forth. She works part-time as a waitress - which would be fine, except for the fact that it's her third job this month alone. Evidently, she's been fired more times than she can count. In her free time, she hangs out with her sister and scrapes up extra money.
Why does your character want to/need to complete these trials: Much like her sister, Jade is in it for the money. She feels as though she kind of owes it to her family due to the amount of job opportunities she's squandered; and, on top of that, with her younger sister taking part Jade feels kind of obligated to do the same.

Bio: Clove was raised by just her mother her whole life, never having her dad in the picture. She has always been to noisy for her own good. Asking question that she didnt even have anything to do with her, she just liked knowing things. Her curiousity often gets her into trouble when she goes too far. She is working on going to law school to help underprivelged families, much like her own. Even through all the bad in the world, she tries to see the good in it. People seem to see her as offputting sometimes due to her resting-bitch-face, but she really isn't as bad as people think. Clove tends to be a hopeless romantic, thinking there is true love out there for everyone. She even pushes her mom to try to get back to her dad, but thats one answer she never has been able to really get. She knows of her dad, but she doesn't know the reason why her parents split before she was born. The answers she is looking for is closer than she thinks, she just needs to put all the pieces together. After getting an invitation to these trials, Clove hopes the experience can change her life.
Why does your character want to/need to complete these trials: Not only to prove to herself the strong woman she knows she is, she also really needs to money to help put her through law school and pay off her student debt and loans.

This continued up until college, where she graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor's in journalism. Following the conclusion of her schooling, she managed to snag a job at a local broadcasting station and has been riding high since with opportunity after opportunity coming her way.

Bio: Josie was born as an upperclasswoman in London, then transferred for school in Manhattan when she barely turned 19. When she decided that college wasn't for her, she traveled around the world like to Mexico, Cuba, Bora Bora, and all the honeymoon islands you could think of. She spent most of her time getting drunk, fucked, and sleeping, blowing out most of her trust fund.

Her parents cut ties with her when she turned 21 and ended up blowing cash of theirs from home. They regarded her as the black sheep of the family and refused to speak to her unless she was able to turn her life around—she didn't. Now she lives in Lower Manhattan feeding off scraps and can barely make it by in her scummy apartment, missing her grandeur life of wanderlust, she's decided to join show in an effort to claim the prize and hopefully turn her life around—or spend another few years bending on alcohol, condoms, and trips.

She's famished—sex-starved—and she's ready to spread her legs if that means she can climb to the top. She's not a rich bitch... she's a former-rich-bitch. But trust her, when she gets her hands on the prize, and she knows she will, she'll squash anyone that tries to get in her way.
