Welcome Everyone to the Gulag!

Here in the Gulag players will compete for their right to stay in the game by playing in one of the games of the Gulag.

For this episode, our match-ups are as followed:

immaxyman (Issy J) vs. jake_WD (Jacob J) vs. sjsoccer88 (Steve J)

The name of this Gulag is Devil Race and this is the SPEED AND PERSEVERANCE GULAG.

For this Gulag, each person will be added to their own group, and you will have 24 hours to participate in the Devil Race. The Devil Race is a 2 hour marathon, where the goal is for you to hit the orb as many times as possible without missing it. Every time the orb is hit, one point is awarded.

So here is how this will work, when you are ready to do your run, you will make a thread in your group titled

Devil Race - Attempt #_

Where the "_" is replaced with the number attempt you are taking.

Once you have done this you will start your time by posting the phrase

PICKS UP ORB FROM CHARGING STATION

Once you have picked up the orb, you will post the phrase below continuously until you are ready to end your run

HITS ORB WITH ELECTRIC PADDLE - HIT #_

Where the "_" is replaced with the number of times you have hit the orb.

At the end of your run, you must post

PLACES ORB BACK ON CHARGING STATION

That phrase must be posted before your two hours are up or before you end your attempt, otherwise you will be disqualified for that attempt.

The Devil Race has some rules that you need to know about

1. You have as many attempts as you can achieve before the deadline. However, if you ever start an attempt and do not use at least 1 hour and 30 minutes of that attempt time, then you will no longer be given any more attempts.

2. Your score will be on the LAST attempt you made. You  need to be strategic in determining whether or not you should make another attempt. Once you start a new attempt, your previous attempt no longer counts.

3. You may delete posts in the Devil Race. If an attempt is checked and it is discovered that you did not keep proper count when hitting the orb, that attempt will be DQ'ed.

4. When you are satisfied, you are to make a thread titled "SET SCORE", that will stop you from making further attempts and could possibly end this Gulag early if everyone set their score.

5. In the event of a tie in the Devil Race, then the player who hit the orb the most times successfully over the course of all attempts, wins. If that fails, the player who who made the most attempts wins. If that fails, then the player who started sooner will win.

This Gulag starts now and you will have until THURSDAY 1 PM PST (4 PM EST) to FINISH this Gulag
