Welcome to the main stage of Omen's Drag Race! This week, I gave each queen a famous Amy to makeover and they will each go down the runway with their special Amy in this makeover challenge. Gentlemen start your engines, and make the best woman, WIN!
Jenna: At first, I really didn’t love the look. I thought it was alright. Then everyone else posted, and to me, your looks kept pushing back to the top. What I do like is the outfit construction. It really gives off the fairytale vibe. I also like how you went with Amy Adams’s natural hair color and didn’t shy away from it.
Eden: While this is cute, that’s all I really have to say about this makeover. Don’t get me wrong I love this makeover but it just felt like you but Winehouse In a 50s style dress and put up her hair and was like “done”. This felt really safe as well, and to me, there’s no time left in this competition to be safe. I just thought overall this was basic and lacked any imagination.
Tara: This was a very fun look, a bit of fresh air onto the runway. Now, when I saw this I don’t get any Amy Duncan, however no one else really tried to come close to resemble their Amy’s, so honestly you get the pass on that. I really love the makeup and hairstyling choices as they really fit the avant-garde theme you were going for. I think the outfits are something I’d see from a Lady GaGa music video or something to that nature. I think you made bold choices and they paid off.
Plai: This is a cute idea, you being the police officer and then sending your Amy to comedy jail. However, this looked way to much like something I’d buy at a Halloween store for $50. You also look more like Amy Schumer than she does so that’s all I really to say about this look.
Aishah: I really love Fat Amy’s look. I think the bees as an unconventional material was a great choice and it really fits into her comedy trope and style. Then we get to your look and I really don’t like it. You don’t resemble Fat Amy at all. Like cool you have a queen B necklace. You also just threw a corset on and but on high heel boots that go up over your knees. I just thought your look was a mistake. Even if you had 1% match to Fat Amy you would be at the top but it’s not there.
Kiki: You did the opposite of what Aishah did. I really love your glamorous red dress and your body and your curves hit just right. Your Amy Poehler makeover left a LOT to be desired. It’s just a red dress and you are like “oh let’s but some stars on it.” Like I said to Eden, this felt WAY TOO SAFE. Also you didn’t do much to even transform Amy. It’s literally Amy Poehler but in a red dress.
Pamela: I gave you a huge extension, I think the longest in my entire run on this program. This is what I get? I think the dresses are cute but I absolutely hate your makeover of her! You shaved her fur off? Really? You couldn’t make her pink fur work into a outfit? I would have made my look around the fact that she has this pink fur and make a fun look out of it. I just think it was a lazy choice and honestly, not even creative. This isn’t a creative look or concept. I mean 2-3 other girls did the same thing, and you knew that as well.
if love an explanation as to the bold statements you're making Tara. I don't think I run the game but clearly you and some others think that. it's not me who has friends round every corner.
