As the ship makes its final descent to Earth, everyone in it comes to accept the challenges that life has coming up for all of them. It ain't a killing game, but it'll be hard digging an entire nation up from the grave it has dug itself. However, all of the Ultimates are confident that they can do it. Together, their decision has shaped the beginnings of a brighter future for Japan.
Over the following months, the five students work hard with the 78th Class to restore democracy to Japan and to start repairing its economy and social structure. It's hard work and it takes a lot out of them, especially because it takes so long, but soon they've laid the foundation for Japan to build itself back up.
After their work is essentially done, the five students take their own separate paths through life. However, due to the unique experiences they've been through, and the friendship they've built, they still remain in touch. Together, they construct a memorial for the eleven students who died in the killing game.
The five of them, along with the fourteen members of Class 78, are hailed as heroes by Japan, and by a lot of the rest of the world. Through their own power, they fought back against a crushing regime, managing to deal a deathblow to them in that Facility. Regardless of who you are and where you come from, you have the power to change the world and bring about a brighter future...
