Sanctuary begins with 14 contestants that will be competing in 13 cycles for the chance to be the last person standing. At the start of every cycle a new challenge will begin. This challenge results in the players competing for immunity. After the challenge only a handful of players will be able to be voted out, everyone will then strategise and socialize to stay safe and plan for the next person to be locked out.

The viewers will also have a hand in this game. As the viewers can vote to punish players but also help giving some contestants power but also could destroy there chance to win immunity. However the viewers will not know what they are voting for in terms of the punishment or reward.

Every cycle 1 person is eliminated until only 3 are left standing to compete in the final competition. The winner and their runner up will guarantee them self a seat in the finals where they will appeal and plea their case why they deserve to win to a jury of the eliminated. In the end, the jury will choose one, and crown the winner of Sanctuary.
