Good evening! This is the preselection for the Lithuanian national selection, from which the participants that will compete for a spot in Rotterdam will be chosen. It is an internal selection at which just 2 jurors will participate: the head delegation of the country and an internal juror. We've decided, however, to make it public.
Eight songs were selected to gain the chance to perform for 4 spots in the event. Half of them will make the cut for the national selection. It will work this way: the 8 participants will perform, one after another; after all of them have presented their song, the internal juror will choose the first qualifier for the final; next, the head delegation will choose the 2nd one, continuing with the internal juror and, in the end, the head delegation will decide the last qualifier from the 5 spots left. There is no criteria of choosing the songs, every juror will try to choose the best of what they've seen, in no necessary order. Originally, there were 9 songs selected for this event, however one of them didn't receive eligibility to participate in ESCT, but will be invited as an interval act for the national final. The entries will get to stage in the order they were chosen to participate. With that being said, let's hear the participants.
