The 31st edition of ESCT is about to start and this time we are traveling to Zagreb, the capital city of 馃嚟馃嚪 Croatia. Just since this moment, you can start posting your entries and the results of your national finals, clues about your entries or artists, etc for ESCT31. There's enough time to make public your entries until next Sunday, July 1st.
Deadline: Sunday, July 1st 11:59 pm (CET).
If you need help to find some songs, you can check the Song Suggestions thread. Along with your song, you can also add the timeslot or the recap (+25 seconds) that you want to be heard in the Semifinals or the Grand Final.
If you want to do a preselection/national final (which is like a little contest to choose the representant of your country with a public poll, a jury, mixed combination...) you must explain the name of the preselection, score system, applications...
PLEASE, before sending any song, you must ask me first to check if your song is accepted to participate in this edition. Songs can be posted once they're accepted.
Finally 48 countries will compete this edition, therefore, the Pre-Semifinal Round (PSR) will return, however we don't know exactly the number of participants but we are considering 7 countries. Welcome to Zagreb. Good luck and may the points be on your side!. #ESCT#ESCT31#Croatia31#EndlessBeat
It is decided. The Young Generation is going to Zagreb to spread their message across Europe. The song is 'Rescue The World' and with it, they are also coming to the rescue of Slovakia. Good luck <3
With 132 points and an average of 8,8 Enisa with the song "Freedom " has been crowned the winner of the Montenegrian preselection " Let's send a song for Zagreb".
Even though it wasn't the personal favourite of the Head of Delegation, we still have to send her because she fairly win. We would like to say thanks to all the countries that took part in the deciding procedure.
With this song Montenegro really hope to pass the preselection round and to achieve a decent result. Good luck to every other country, especially the ones that found themselfes stuck in the horrible presemifinal round.
NAPOLI WINS EUROFEST 2
Only a few minutes ago the results of Eurofest 2 have been published. After more than a week of waiting in which a total of 23 countries have voted, we already know who has been chosen. Napoli with the song ''Chasing Rushes'' has won thanks to the 226 points awarded by the jury. The detailed results will be published soon in: esct.wikia.com/wiki/Eurofest_2
Napoli is a young Belarusian singer who has tried to represent her country in ESC several times. However, until now she hasn't had good luck. Fortunately now she has the opportunity to prove her worth in ESCT 31. Her song, ''Chasing Rushes'', is a pop ballad that creates a melancholy aura to speak of constant disappointment due to having too high expectations of situations and/or people. The video is the following:
(Recap: 1:35 - 2:00)
The whole country hopes the singer qualify to the Grand Final of the festival because the last editions have been a failure.
