After we saw several advantages and idols come out at the double elimination, last round we saw absolutely nothing played. What’s the general idea of advantages, are they still out there? Are they all used?

It's just the logical assumption. In a game that's already been heavy with advantages, and not everybody played something at that tribal council, it only makes sense that there would still be 2 or 3 left. Then, again, it may also depend on how you define "advantages" here.
